  1. The Church of Saint Spyridon is five minutes from the airport, a mile and a half north. One of Corfu’s best-known, most colourful landmarks, it has a sumptuous interior and red-painted bell tower. The island’s patron saint’s remains are here – legend has it he stalks the Old Town at night!
  2. Aqualand lies some seven miles west, meaning Corfu Airport transfers take barely more than 15 minutes. This sprawling park encompasses fun, relaxation and adrenaline, with slides and rides, pools, dining and a jacuzzi, plus spa treatments and a video arcade.
